I have now bought two of these cases. I really loved the rubber interior for shock resistance, BUT...both cases have broken along the bottom strip where it is very thin. It starts as a small crack, then breaks all the way and is unusable. I initially liked the case so much, I purchased a second case and unfortunatley the small place has broken. Extremely disappointed..

I have been absolutely in love with this case since the moment I snapped it onto my phone. I love the sleek design and the cool color, and I'm no longer afraid of dropping my phone. The hard outer shell and rubber inner lining give me all the confidence I need, not to mention the handy screen protector is great for protecting against smudges and scratches. My phone slips into the case nicely and fits very snugly, so I have no worries of my phone popping out. The snug fit is sort of a detriment when you want to remove your phone, but I guess that's the small price of keeping my investment safe. Fortunately, when you do remove the case, you will notice your phone still in pristine condition. I have also noticed the back of the case has many scratches after less than a week of use, but I won't let that affect my rating.
I would highly recommend this case to any iPhone user.
*************UPDATE: 10/27/2010*************
I have done a complete 180 on this case. When I first received it, I was very excited and impressed at the quality of protection, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the small strip along the bottom below the home button has cracked in three places and finally broke the other day. The case still fits my phone just the same, so I suppose I could still use it, but the purpose seems to have been defeated.
To sum up, this case lasted merely five months before breaking, and I will not purchase another until Speck corrects the problem.

If you are looking for something to protect your phone, then I would definitely recommend this case. The mute button is fairly easy to press with the case on as well as the volume and top switches even though they are covered. This case does a great job of maintaining the sleek iphone look without bulking it up.

Did its job for a bit, putting it on my gf's phone was a b****! Well mainly taking it off because she forgot to put on the screen protector first. On the plus side, it did come witha screen protector and even a microfiber cloth! But on the negative, the thing started peeling and splitting while taking off the phone. Plus the bottom cracked near the port all the way to the speck logo. Maybe for iPhone 4 it is better, but this case isn't really that great... Sorry speck, still love yur products though:)

This cover is pretty good, protect the phone very well the only thing is that is a bit hard to remove but you shouldnt be removing it anyways, and when you do remove it , most probably that you would break the really thing part at the bottom of the cover, right by where the charger goes...
but overall great cover i like it...
